A delightful spectrum,
Stretched across the sky,
So vibrantly sensuous,
So colourfully inviting,
I was drawn to it…
Born to the rain and sun,
Of their frenzied lovemaking,
Glistening lazily in all its ardour,
Bridging the earth and sky…
I ran to it, to grasp it…
Hoping to be enveloped…
In its fulfilling embrace,
As I neared, it smiled…
I reached out to touch and hold,
But my hand went through…
So I sat down to gaze…
At his majestic aura,
All an illusion…
And he faded away to emptiness…
